Born in Denver in 1986 and raised in Chicago, Darrah Wills graduated from the College of Santa Fe in 2008 receiving her BFA with focus in Integrated Studio Arts. As an artist experimenting with a variety of mediums and primarily focusing on charcoal drawing, Darrah examines issues of colonialism, domination and dependency. Though she explores both literal and metaphorical depictions of rural and industrial settings; she views her drawings as a documentation of a changing American landscape and its relationship to our psychosomatic shifts. She has experience in art conservation and has displayed her work in several group shows around Santa Fe.
